Daniela Serban is a financial communications and IR professional with over 17 years of experience in the capital markets, consulting and media. She currently manages a community of listed companies – ARIR and VERTIK Group, which includes a consulting firm, a think tank and an investment vehicle.

Within the business consultancy company, she advises companies seeking funding on improving communication with investors (IR- Investor Relations). She has recently been appointed by the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) as the Lead Consultant for the Programme – “Investor Relations and Liquidity Support Programme” – where up to 3 companies will be selected to receive advice to improve their visibility and liquidity in the capital market.

Also part of the group is the VERTIK Association for the Future, a think-tank for ideas and solutions with an impact on the economy.

As president and co-founder of the Romanian Investor Relations Association (ARIR), Daniela has contributed to the development of a platform for investor relations professionals and the implementation of best practices in investor communication and corporate governance. ARIR was founded in 2018 and has tripled its membership in its first three years of operation.

In her daily life, Daniela Șerban is involved in financial and entrepreneurial education initiatives, supporting women in business and mentoring young professionals. Daniela holds a master’s degree in corporate finance and is a PhD student in economics, with a focus on the determinants of capital market development, at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. She is also a mentor of the EIC (European Innovation Council) Women’s Leadership Programme of the European Innovation and SME Executive Agency (EISMEA).
